Business Overview:
ALM Treasury is a Transversal Activity within BNP Paribas Group. ALM Treasury has three operational responsibilities and two prudential mandates. The three operational responsibilities are the management of the Group's liquidity position, the management of the interest rate risk in the banking book (IRRBB) and the management of the foreign exchange risks. The prudential mandates refer to the liquidity risks linked to the Group's profile and geographical presence, for which ALM Treasury exercises a responsibility similar to a Group function. ALM Treasury's mandates consist in assessing the liquidity risks of the Group and protecting the Group's signature.
ALM Treasury North America (ALMT NA) overviews the Combined US Operations (CUSO) and the Canadian activities. The CUSO of BNP Paribas includes the US branches and the Intermediate Holding Company of the Group (and its subsidiaries).

• Monitor and interpret regulatory changes regarding liquidity and interest rate risks management, and use quantitative methods to evaluate their impact on the Bank's position and strategy.
• Apply data analysis and AI/ML techniques to identify patterns and trends in balance sheet and product data, and propose innovative solutions to optimize risks' management framework.
• Support the team in the development and validation of risk management proposals, using quantitative models and simulations to support decision making and present results to senior stakeholders and risk committees.
• Ensure timely and accurate implementation of the approved changes, in coordination with ALMT Liquidity and Rates Metrics and RISK ALMT teams.
• Maintain and improve documentation of models, limits, and procedures, striving to automate and streamline processes where relevant.
• Continuous monitoring of several topics during the year, such as the internal classification of new counterparties or new securities, which affects their treatment in the liquidity metrics - and often requires interpretation beyond the existing rules.
• Analyze regulations and public data sources using data mining and quantitative methods to benchmark the Bank's position against its peers and identify areas of improvement. Minimum Required Qualifications:
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience with a strong quantitative component
• Strong programming skills in a modern programming language (e.g., Python)
• Experience in all stages of data science: mining, analysis, and visualization
• A creative mind combined with strong problem skills to design elegant yet effective risk management solutions
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a talent to explain complex concepts in a simple yet comprehensive manner
• Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications:
• 3 to 5 years' experience in financial services
• Master's degree in engineering or other math majors
• Hands on experience in AI/ML models

• Not Applicable The expected starting salary range for this position is between $130,000 to $145,000 annually. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business line, and geographic/office location.
